REEF ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES TERMINATOR™ 2D: NO FATE

We’re thrilled to announce Terminator 2D: NO FATE, an officially licensed 2D action side-scroller published and developed in-house by Reef Entertainment and Bitmap Bureau, both part of the Reef Creative Group family.

The title will be launching on PS5®, PS4®, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (via Steam® and the Epic Games Store) on September 5th, 2025.

Terminator 2D: NO FATE gives players the chance to play as heroes Sarah Connor, John Connor and the T-800 as they take on Skynet and the T-1000 in a unique story blending iconic scenes from the groundbreaking film ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ with original scenarios and multiple endings.

True to the trademark Bitmap Bureau style, Terminator 2D: NO FATE features authentic arcade gameplay, music and visuals built from the ground up. The Making Terminator™ 2D: NO FATE Trailer gives a behind-the-scenes insight at how the Bitmap team tackled the challenge of translating one of cinema’s most enduring cultural touchstones into a complete arcade experience, capturing the unforgettable scenes and moments that helped shape a generation.

Making Terminator™ 2D: NO FATE (PS5®, PS4®, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox & PC)

Pre-orders for Terminator 2D: NO FATE are now live, with three physical editions available for PS5®, PS4®, Nintendo Switch™ and Xbox One/Series X at select retailers: the Day One Edition, Collector’s Edition and Online Exclusive Edition (available exclusively on the brand-new direct-to-consumer Reef Direct Online Store). Digital pre-orders and details on ports for retro platforms will be coming at a later date.

Terminator 2D: NO FATE is Reef Entertainment’s second title set in the ever-popular Terminator universe after Terminator: Resistance, a first-person shooter published by Reef and developed by Teyon. Since its release in 2019, Terminator: Resistance has enjoyed enduring popularity among Terminator fans, praised for its immersive story and faithfulness to the source material, a trend we are hoping to continue with the upcoming release of Terminator 2D: NO FATE.
